For Sean's birthday, we went to the Hollywood Bowl to see the Decemberists with guests Band of Horses and Andrew Bird. The Decemberists got to play with the LA Phil, which was a treat. It was a great show in a spectacular setting. It is pretty amazing how you can step out of Los Angeles into these outdoor amphitheatres! I love picnics and the Decemberists.
I love all three of those bands-what was I thinking not attending? I love the Hollywood Bowl so much, it is one of my favorite LA activities. What a great way to celebrate the birth of Sean :)
