March Madness!!

Few things get me as excited as March Madness! I love love love it...the brackets, the upsets, the cinderella stories, I can't get enough. So, I was thrilled when one of Sean's classmates was able to get us tickets to the 2nd round of the tournament in Anaheim yesterday. We got to watch 2 of the best games so far: Stanford/Marquette & UCLA/Texas A & M. Both games went down to the wire and were decided by a point or two--the Stanford game went into overtime after their coach was ejected from the game before they pulled off the win....ahhh! It's MADNESS!! Even the Dance Squad/Cheerleaders were battling. Texas A & M's Dancers got up and did a hot little hip hop routine, then the UCLA girls came out and danced to the exact same song! "The A & M girls Got Served!" Go Bruins!

Spring Break!!

Yeah for Spring Break!! It officially started today and what better way to enjoy it than a trip to the beach with my friend Carrie from work! We soaked up the sun and lounged in or bikinis--yep, even with the big belly! (I won't scar you with photos, however.) I sure am going to miss this weather and the beach when we move to Tennessee! Carpe Diem!!

Thief!!

So, lately, I have been noticing that I am even more forgetful and spacey than normal. I call it Pregnancy Brain! I do things like: look all over for my keys only to find them in my hand. Or I will go to the store for a specific item (i.e. Hamburger Buns) and then return with everything but the buns!!

But it was especially bad this weekend when I went shopping with Kimber and Ashley. We went into the Gap on Beverly Blvd, then left and headed to the Paper Source. After which we crossed the street then started back to the car. About half way back, I looked down and noticed I was carrying these babies (see left) in my hand. Yes, I HAD STOLEN THIS PAIR OF SHOES and worse, didn't even notice for like 20 minutes!! I was just toting them around!! So, quickly I ran back to the Gap and told the clerk that I suffer from Pregnancy Brain and paid for the kicks! It's official, I am a shoplifter!

Go Bruins!!

I finally made it to my first UCLA basketball game in real life!! I have never been since tickets are sooooo expensive, but Sean's professor gave him an extra to the Stanford game tonight, so we put on our baby blue and headed to Pauley Pavilion. And it could have not been a better game!! UCLA was down the entire game until the last 2 seconds when Collison tied it up with 2 clutch free-throws. It went into overtime and I am happy to report that the Bruins came out victorious!! It was one of the best games I have ever seen! Even better, it clinched the PAC-10 title for the Bruins! Woohoo! (It was so loud that the baby kept doing sommersaults in my belly--I think she was excited for her first game too!!)

Vegas Baby!!

Feeling that the opportunities are quickly fading with our impending move, Sean and I decided to take a road trip to Vegas about 2 weeks ago. We decided that it was time to have a true Vegas vacation and actually stay in one of the hotels on the strip and go to a Vegas show. So, we ponied up the cash for a room at the Bellagio and got tickets to the Cirque de Soleil show Mystere at Treasure Island. It was fabulous!
