It only makes sense that Lucy loves to get Manicures and Pedicures since her mom got about 100 of them while she was prego! BUT Lu only lets her daddy do them...maybe because she knows how precise a surgeon's hands are and doesn't want to take a chance on anyone else!

First Day of Med School

2 weeks ago Sean had his LAST First Day of School--at least we hope! Med School started at Vanderbilt and Sean is the oldest guy in the class, one of a couple who are married, and the only one with a kid. (Now we know how the Houlbergs and Craguns felt at the beginning of Dental School at UCLA!) So far he is liking being in class again. He takes his PB& J in his Napolean Dynamite lunchbox and Lucy & I take him to school and pick him up everyday. We are proud of our little DDS on his way to MD!!

Today, July 8th, is a great day! It marks the anniversary of Sean Michael Young's birth. We wish we could be with you to celebrate, Sean, especially with a pink unicorn pinata!! Here's hoping that you have a great day. WE LOVE YOU!!

We Are Headed To....

Go Commodores!! We got our news this morning that we are headed to good old Nashville, Tennessee!! Get your Grand Ole' Opry tickets now!

Guess who's back?!?!

That's right...after 5 long weeks, Sean is back in the City of Angels. He seemed to have a good time at both OHSU (Portland) and UCSF (San Francisco) and got to be in on some very interesting surgical cases. But boy, did I miss him!! In fact here are a few things I missed most:

• 1. His smell.

2. Dancing in the kitchen.

3. Waking me up after I have fallen asleep on the couch and dragging me into bed.

4. Making me to brush my teeth every night.

5. Making my Sunday breakfast (and any other meals for that matter.)

6. Someone to accompany me to dinners and movies--I was starting to feel like the 3rd/5th wheel, right Nelsons & Pulsiphers!! (They kept calling me the "Widow Young")

7. His laugh & his jokes that make me laugh!

but Sean refused to wear it, so this was the alternative. Isn't it hot?!?

As you can see, the only similarity is their names, but that doesn't stop all sorts of crazy, stalker fans from trying to track down the actress and calling our house. We get calls every once in a while from a "producer" or "screen writer" looking for the female Sean to cast her in thier latest flick, but we got our best voicemail this week from Steven Riley of Colonia, New Jersey. He was calling to see if Sean remembered him from his letters and poetry he had sent her. He sent two poems a few years ago called "I Needed You" and "The Reverie of Sean Young" He mentioned in his message that he thought they were some of his best works and right up there with the likes of Robert Frost and Emily Dickenson--the best poets in the English Language. He also said he would like to further express his admiration and that she should give him a call. PSYCHO!! I actually would like a copy of "The Reverie of Sean Young," so I may give Steve a call....haha!!
