A piece of my childhood...

">" border="0" alt="" />

I don't know if anyone else loved this show like I did, but each night Jadon, my little bro, and I would put on our PJs, snuggle up on the couch, and watch Fraggle Rock before going to bed. My mom put the first season on DVD in my Easter Basket this year and I am loving it!! Great gift and great memories. Dance your cares away.....

Birthday Wishes to Ashley!

To my favorite Hooker, Ashley, who shows me a great time every time I got to Vegas, who taught me sweet knitting skills, who loves to shop, and most of all is one killer friend!
I love ya and I hope you enjoy your last year of the twenties!!

Think Blue

GO DODGERS!!

We went to the Dodgers Game Last night with the UCLA Dental Class of 2008. They took on the San Francisco Giants, but unfortunately came up short. (That Mary Bonds hit another homer!) We still enjoyed all the baseball treats and good company though.

We sat in the All-You-Can-Eat Section of Outfield Pavillion.

This is Sean tackling his 5th Dodger Dog--he was the hot dog eating champion of the night with Ryan Plewe coming in 2nd eating 4 dogs. (I am so proud!)

Here are our good buddies, the Shamos.

And this is the littlest Shamo, Wyatt.

The happy Cragun clan.

Jake caught a toss from the centerfielder, but Jackie Houlberg can beat that...she got the Barry Bonds homerun ball!!

These Houlbergs are seriously the luckiest! Last year, Bryan won the Showcase on the Price is Right!! (Sean was glad because he got to run on stage after and shake Bob Barker's hand!)

Go Packers!

If I ever have a daughter, she is getting one of these, right mom?!? :)

Happy Birthday Richelle!

Even though, it was 2 weeks ago, the blogging world was still new to me, so I wanted to send a late birthday wish out to my mommy as well!! Love ya mom!!

This one's for you, Beth!!

My good buddy Beth has been going through withdrawls since Cinnabon left Utah, so I saw this place and wished she were here with me!

Zensational

Sean and I at the Skirball Cultural Center for my school's annual Spring Fundraiser.
This year's theme was "A Zensational Evening" (notice the mini-chinese food take out container in my hand--it had our seat assigments in it.)

This is Sean's first white shirt since his mission!

Marissa and Sean with our name tags on.
Marissa and Tracey, my 3rd grade teammate and best teacher this side of the Mississippi!

There was a live auction and it was pretty unbelievable what people were willing to pay for student produced art--one project went for $3500!! Woah! (Like Joey from Blossam) I bid on and won a sweet haircut from the Salon in The Beverly Hills Hotel. (It will be my first haircut in Los Angeles. I always just get it cut back home in Utah, so this should be good!)

Earth Cake

Here is my latest cake creation in commemoration of Earth Day on Sunday.

Happy Birthday Shauni!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAUNI!

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM ALL OF US TO YOU,
WE'RE GLAD IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY, SO WE CAN PARTY TOO!
HEY!

Shauni/mom, we hope your 39th birthday is a happy one! Wish we could be there to celebrate with you! We miss you and we love ya.

P.S. I hope Kent remembered to get you a pinata,
preferably a "pink llamacorn."

You make all of our lives much more fun!

Universal City Walk

Sean and I checked out the Universal City Walk before the concert the other night. It is similar to Downtown Disney: lots of restaraunts, shops, and weird street performers. Here are a few photos from the evening.

Rodrigo y Gabriela

You seriously have to check these two out. They are a duo from Mexico City and they rock!

(I would put it directly on to my blog for you to watch, but I don't have sweet YouTube skills like Lors!)

Sounds Eclectic

We went to the Universal Amphitheatre (in Universal Studios) for the Annual KCRW Sounds Eclectic Show last Saturday. There were 7 bands that played well into the night. Very cool venue! The line-up included Bitter:Sweet, Breakastrut (who?), Travis, Cold War Kids, and Rodrigo & Gabriella (who were the most amazing guitarists I have ever seen!!)

The Lily Allen and Shins were the headliners. I like Lily Allen, but I LOVE the Shins!!
They are so great live, which is rare. They seem like guys I would like to hang out with. I bet they would come to a rootbeer tasting party! Their new album is superb and they played a bunch of their old stuff too. It was definitely worth suffering through a few of the other bands to get to the goods at the end!

Earth Day Every Day!!

We were allowed to wear jeans to school today, but only if we wore an "Earth Day" shirt. So,I decided to make one since I didn't have one. I used some iron-on stuff and some old scraps of fabric.
REDUCE REUSE and RECYCLE!!

Happy Birthday Courtney!!

It's April 19th...so you know what that means...Courtney is the newest member of Club 27! I read Lindsey's post this morning and remembered the TMNT (Ninja Turtles) photos and also the night we went to the dollar movies wearing these awesome outfits! Enjoy the photos, Court, and enjoy your day! (Now if I could only find our Bonnett Ball--softball--photos from 1986.) I luv ya! ~Mariss

It was my first time using this scanner and I am not sure how to work the dang thing, so the pix look a little funky, but if you click on them, you can see them in better detail!

I Love In-N-Out Days!!

Once a month IN-N-OUT caters lunch at my school. They just drive up their burger mobile, park it in front of the school and serve the kids and the teachers a few double doubles, cheeseburgers (animal style), and the ever popular grilled cheese. It's like a dream come true! There are many great reasons to work in a private school, but I have to say...this is the best!!

(Notice the fountain drinks station--you can pour your own while you wait for your burger--there's nothing better than throwing back a cold coke after a day with the kiddos!)

Cake Decor Part Deux

Okay, so this week's class didn't go so well. The cake is supposed to look like a book, but mine mostly looks like a cake with a big dent in it. Oh well, it tastes pretty good. Better luck next week!

But look how cute Ashley's turned out!! It makes the class fun to take it with a good buddy!
